Game 2 at Olean:

The Jamestown Chiefs football team recorded a 37-0
win over Southern Tier Diesel Saturday at Bradner
Stadium.

It is the Chiefs' first win, and they are now 1-1 on the
year in the Northeast Football Alliance.

Frank Vicary and James Dickey led the ground attack
for the Chiefs. Vicary ran 14 times for 165 yards, scoring
on runs of 12 and 1 yards, while Dickey had 17 carries
for 150 yards, with touchdowns from 11, 10, and 1 yard
out.

Quarterback Shawn Fink completed 6-of-8 passes for
109 yards, including a 35-yard touchdown to Henry
Leeper. Leeper finished with two catches for 50 yards.

Defensively, Vicary had 12 tackles (five solo), one sack
and one pass tipped. Josh Benson had 11 tackles (four
solo) and defensive tackle Brennen Taylor made six
tackles (one solo). Also, Ricky Gonzales had three punt
returns for 77 yards, including a long of 53.

Vicary started the scoring midway through the first
quarter with a 12-yard run, and added the extra point.
Dickey scored three times in the second quarter,
making it a 25-0 lead at halftime. The first two were 11
and 10 yards, respectively, and the last a one-yard burst
with 15 seconds left in the half after a 60-yard draw put
them on the doorstep.

In the third, Vicary capped off a seven-play drive with a
one yard plunge. The final score came with just over
nine minutes to play in the fourth, with Fink hitting
Leeper for the final 37-0 margin.

The Chiefs will return to action on July 11 against the
Buffalo Gladiators. The game will start at 7:30 p.m. and
be played at the old University at Buffalo stadium.
